The Philadelphia Flyers suffered their second consecutive loss on Saturday night, falling 4-2 to the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena. Travis Konecny scored both goals for the Flyers, who are now 21-34-11 and last in the Metropolitan Division. Konecny opened the scoring in the first period with a power-play goal, but the Predators responded with three goals in the second period, including two by Filip Forsberg. Konecny cut the deficit to one with his second goal in the third period, but Matt Duchene sealed the win for the Predators with an empty-netter. The Predators improved to 38-24-4 and moved into a tie for second place in the Central Division. They also extended their home winning streak to six games. The Flyers will return home to face the New York Islanders on Monday, while the Predators will host the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday.
